Hallowee`n
was a blast at the Ka`u Farmers' Market! Jenny the beautiful
witch flew in on the 8 a.m. broom to sell her magic
jewelry.
December 5th is the 8th anniversary of the market. It all
began on the first Saturday in December 2001 when the
Main Street
Board met with four local farmers and arranged to
set up stalls in Waiohinu park. There will be music and
a draw
for
prizes at the anniversary market.

Held every Wednesday
and Saturday from 8:00AM to Noon in the front of Ace Hardware
in Na`alehu, Hawaii. You’ll find the very freshest
direct-from-the-farm fruits, vegetables, mac nuts and coffee… along
with hot-from-the-oven baked goods. In addition, you will
find local crafts, art, plants and an assortment of other
Ka`u specialties. For reservation call 939-7536 or 929-8322.

The
Ka`u Farmers Market is a gathering place for locals and visitors
alike... all looking for great food, great prices, and lots
of FUN! As with all projects of the non-profit Na`alehu
Main Steet... the market is staffed with community
volunteers dedicated to providing a top-level shopping experience
for YOU!

INVITED: Ka`u Farmers Market is the perfect outlet for
your farm products, art, crafts, etc. Table space is available
on both Wednesday and Saturday. For a modest donation
you can "reap-the harvest" at the Ka`u Farmer's
